TWIN CITY RED TAKES WEST TITLE

The Twin City Red team posted a 5-4 win over Lexington 8th in the semifinals and then defeated top-ranked Andover 1 by a score of 4-1 in the championship game to capture the West Division Title.

ACTON BOXBORO WINS 7TH SOUTH

The Acton-Boxboro 7th team did not allow one goal during the 2013 playoffs and as a result can now call themselves champions of the 7th South Division. The team capped off a tremendous season with a 6-0 win over Concord/Carlisle 8th - II.

GROTON WINS EAST DIVISION TITLE

The Groton 7th team outscored its opponents by an 8-to-1 margin during this year's playoffs. As a result, the talented team can call itself East Champions. Groton defeated Lynnfield 8th by a score of 4-0 in the finals. This win was a repeat for the Groton team that won the 6th-grade division last year.

IT'S CHAMPIONSHIP TIME AGAIN

The 2013 VMSHL Championship schedule has been posted. Beginning on February 22, teams will vie for divisional titles to cap off what has been an outstanding and competitive season. Before that happens, be sure to catch up on league play through the week ending on February 3.
