Roundup - Week 10

 

8th grade

Tier 1

 

Dylan Damiani scored twice and Nick Hubbard pitched a shutout in Lynnfield’s 6-0 victory over Storm 78; and Rosado scored the tying goal early in the second period as Chelmsford tied Windham 2-2—Quaglietta with both goals for Windham.

 

Tier 2

 

Sabatini’s second goal of the game, to go with an assist, came with :03 on the clock and gave Sanborn a 6-6 tie with Woburn – No. 12 with five goals and Parece three assists for Woburn; Hodgin clicked for two goals and two assists and Steiner had two goals and a helper in Burlington’s 5-1 win over Winthrop; and Underwood scored twice and Caron pitched a shutout in Dracut’s 5-0 triumph over the Crusaders.

 

7th grade

Tier 1

 

Jason Duckett scored twice and Tom Titone had a goal and an assist as Salem downed Wakefield 6-0; and Gagnon, who also had an assist, scored with 1:07 left to give Triton a 3-2 decision over Methuen.

 

Tier 2

 

Calvin Zimmerman and Justin Dantona both scored twice and Matt Palmer had a goal and an assist as Melrose topped Chelmsford 5-2 – Nick Lupoli with both goals in the loss; No. 7 scored five goals, Jamie Gray delivered a goal and two assists, Bodie Marcotte had a goal and an assist and JR Bonia and Nicki Boothroyd shared the shutout in Amesbury’s 8-0 victory over the Warriors; and Eric Grasso had a goal and an assist as Saugus topped Newton 4-2.

 

Tier 3

 

Luke Dempsey scored two early goals and Matt Crowley had the winner in the second period of Exeter’s 4-3 decision over Timberlane; Langlois and Mancini both wore hats, Cabral posted two goals and an assist and Peluso two assists in Windham’s big win over Melrose; Ricky Constantine scored two goals and set up another and Connor Fitzpatrick pitched a shutout as Everett/Mystic Valley defeated Bedford 7-0; and No. 17 scored one goal and handed out four assists, No. 5 wore the hat and No. 39 had two goals and an assist in North Andover’s 7-2 victory over Westford.

 

6th Grade

Tier 1

 

Charlie Fecteau scored twice and No. 12 had two assists in Arlington’s 3-1 victory over Methuen; No. 56 scored with 46 seconds left to give Wakefield a 7-6 decision over Dracut – Brady Walsh with two goals and an assist in the win and Andrew Mullen a goal and two assists and Matt Sartell a goal and an assist in the loss; and No. 81 scored with 2:24 left to give Burlington a 4-3 decision over Danvers.

 

Tier 2

 

Asher Chisholm scored one goal and dished out three assists and Elliott Chisholm posted two goals and an assist in Salem’s 7-1 win over Medford; No. 9 scored with 15.2 seconds left to give Reading a 3-3 tie with Lexington – Will Dyment with two goals for Reading; and Quigley scored the winner in the second period as Stoneham edged Chelmsford 4-3.

 

Tier 3

 

Billerica won both games. Joey DaSilva and Tommy Peterson scored during a late rally, Tim Murphy wore the hat and had two assists and Dion scored twice in an 8-6 victory over Newton, No. 11 with five goals and No. 7 three assists in the loss – and Luke Allen scored twice and Ryan Johnson and No. 12 both posted a goal and an assist as Billerica scored four goals in the second period and edged Cape Ann 5-4.

 

Tier 4

 

The LS Jr. Warriors won twice, Tom Naseck had a goal and an assist in a 4-2 victory over Winthrop – and Carlos Lucchese scored five goals, Kevin Abair and Henry Wood both had two assists and Jesse Rich pitched a shutout in an 8-0 triumph over Peabody;

 

Hudson Wood scored the winner as Manchester-Essex nipped Beverly 5-4; and Laramie scored two goals and set up another, Finkle and Corbett both also scored twice Doherty had a goal and an assist in Marblehead’s big win over Peabody – Joe Tavilla with two goals in the loss.

5th Grade

No. 13 scored with 2:18 left and Matt Costa then scored his fourth goal of the game with 1:07 remaining to give Merrimack Valley a 6-6 tie with Wakefield Red – Covelluzzi with four goals and an assist, Vater three assists and M. Burns a goal and an assist for Wakefield; Rebecca Sobol scored twice and Nick Piantedosi posted a goal and an assist in Bedford’s 5-2 win over Chelmsford – Devyn Remeika with both goals in the loss; and Dan Hanafin came through with two goals and an assist, Brandon DeRosa had a goal and two assists and Wyatt Condon also scored twice in Burlington’s 7-3 victory over Wakefield Grey – Ryan McCarthy and Joe Sasso with a goal and an assist apiece in the loss.
