8th grade

Tier 1

 

L&P Lynnfield won the title.

In the quarterfinals, North Reading nipped Chelmsford 4-3 in a shootout, the teams scoring all six goals in the second period -- Aiden Driscoll had a goal and an assist for North Reading; and Yeung’s second goal of the game, with 3:59 left, gave Windham a 3-2 decision over Storm 78.

In the semifinals, Joe Raffa scored the winner with 10:35 left and Christian Rosa had a goal and an assist in Lynnfield’s 2-1 victory over Windham; and Devin Marshall scored twice and Tim Rose and William Tarbox both had a goal and an assist in Westford’s 9-4 win over North Reading – Noah Pineo with a hat trick and an assist in the loss.

In the final, Rosa wore the hat, Dylan Damiani delivered a goal and two assists and Nick Hubbard pitched a shutout in Lynnfield’s 7-0 triumph over Westford.

Tier 2

 

Burlington took home the crown.

Jackson Andy scored one goal and handed out two assists, No. 32 scored twice and Mike Holgersen had a goal and an assist in Winthrop’s 9-2 win over Groton/Dunstable;

Doiron scored the winner with 2:55 left, McLean scored twice and Burlington scored four in the third period to nip Winthrop 5-4

Brady Tremblay scored the winner with 9:05 left as North Andover edged Dracut 3-2 – Drew Duross with both goals and Cam Caron assists in both in the loss; Carta scored twice in the second period and Parace assisted on both as Woburn nipped Bedford 3-2; and Dixon pitched a shutout and Muse scored twice as Sanborn topped Cambridge 3-0.

In the semis, Andriolo scored 48 seconds into overtime to give Burlington a 3-2 decision over Woburn – Steiner with two goals in the win; and Carlson scored two goals and set up another in North Andover’s 5-1 victory over Sanborn.

In the final, McLean scored two goals and handed out two assists and Lopes also scored twice in Burlington’s 5-1 win over North Andover.

7th grade

Tier 1

 

Burlington won the championship.

Tom Titone scored one goal and set up another and Connor Gray scored what turned out to be the winner in the third period as Salem edged Methuen 3-2 – Cashman with a goal and an assist in the loss; Will Costa scored four goals, Cam Penti had a goal and two assists and No. 3 scored twice in Billerica’s 11-3 victory over Wakefield – Ryan Metsis with two goals in the loss.

In the semifinals, Luke Pazzia started a four-goal second-period rally and Chris Delleva had two assists in Burlington’s 4-1 victory over Salem; and Kutcher had two goals and an assist, Hersey also scored twice and Marengi pitched a shutout in Triton’s 7-0 victory over Billerica.

In the title game, Seamus McMakin scored the winner with 4:17 left and Pazzia dished out three assists in Burlington’s 4-3 decision over Triton – Max Gagnon with a goal and an assist in the loss.

Tier 2

 

Melrose won the title.

Mike Spitz scored two goals and set up another, Jack Keyo had a goal and two assists and Matt Hall also scored twice in Chelmsford’s big win over the Warriors; and Sam Karp scored five goals, including four straight and a natural hat in 2:12, Stephen Solari had two goals and two assists, Kendrick Tam had a goal and three assists, Aviv Rosenbaum delivered a goal and two assists and Sam McKay also posted three assists in Newton’s 11-4 win over Saugus – Moschella with a goal and an assist and Hall two assists in the loss.

In the semifinals, Declan Crowley had a goal and an assist and Alex Sevastyanov scored what turned out to be the winner with 8:27 left as Melrose downed Chelmsford 5-2; and Sam Guimaraes had two goals and an assist, Jack Welch a goal and two assists and Dylan Flett a goal and a helper in Amesbury’s 9-3 win over Newton – Karp with a hat trick and  Sean McKay two assists in the loss.

In the final, Tyler Muse scored twice and Joe Smith pitched a shutout as Melrose defeated Amesbury 6-0.

Tier 3

 

Everett/Mystic Valley won the title.

Andrew Crasco scored what turned out to be the winner in the second period as Everett/Mystic trimmed Timberland 4-2; and Ryan Dempsey wore the hat and added an assist, Luke Dempsey posted three assists, No. 17 scored twice, Matt Crowley had a goal and an assist, Connor Jaworski had two assists and Zack Pattow pitched a shutout in Exeter’s big win over Westford.

In the semifinals, Lukas Daquire scored all four goals in Everett’s 4-2 victory over North Andover; and Pat Nugent wore the hat and added an assist, Nick Ottaviani clicked for two goals and an assists and Chris Ferris also scored twice in North Andover 7-3 win over Bedford – Grady Culhane with two goals and James Nichol a goal and an assist in the loss.

In the final, Daquire scored two goals and set up two others, Crasco had a goal and an assist and Brendan Cuniff pitched a shutout in Everett’s big win over Exeter.

6th Grade

Tier 1

 

Arlington’s Ponders won the crown.

Armen Vartanian scored twice in Arlington’s 4-1 victory over Dracut; and Will MacLaren scored two goals as Methuen trimmed Wakefield 3-1.

In the semifinals, Vartanian, who also had an assist, scored the winner with 3:01 left and Charlie Fecteau also had a goal and an assist as the Ponders edged Burlington 4-3 – McElroy with a goal and an assist in the loss; and B. Baldassere pitched a shutout and Luke Horenstein scored late in the first period as Danvers downed Methuen 2-0.

In the title game, Vartanian scored twice, Fecteau had a goal and an assist and combined with John O’Connor for two goals in 28 seconds early in the third period as the Ponders nipped Danvers 4-3 – Matt Morelli with two goals and Christian McCarthy two assists in the loss.

Tier 2

 

Salem won the championship.

Tautkus scored two goals and handed out three assists, Gavin Doughty scored two goals and set up two others, Ross also scored twice and Elliott Chisholm also posted two assists in Salem’s 8-6 victory over Medford – Declan Baker with a goal and two assists, No. 12 two goals and Cam Sheehan a goal and an assist in the loss; North Andover nipped Lexington 2-1 in a shootout – Zach Steely with the NA goal and Milo Conlin scoring for Lexington; Will Dyment scored twice as Reading edged Stoneham 6-5 – Ryan Conn with two goals in the loss; and Bowen had a goal and two assists, No. 88 had a goal and an assist and Kyle Rushton pitched a shutout in Beverly’s 5-0 victory over Chelmsford.

In the semifinals, No. 88 posted two assists as Salem nipped North Andover 5-4 – Steely with two goals in the loss; and Fidler’s second goal of the game, 43 seconds into overtime, gave Beverly a 2-1 decision over Reading.

In the final, Doughty scored the winner with 1:32 left in the second period and Tautkus had a goal and an assist as Salem got by Beverly 3-2 – O’Leary with both goals in the loss.

Tier 3

 

Billerica won the championship.

Keegan Jewell’s second goal of the game, with 7:03 left, was followed by a Camron Smithson goal 55 seconds later to give Cape Ann a 4-2 victory over Lynn – Jayson Avery with both goals in the loss.

In the semifinals, Tim Murphy wore the hat, Ryan Johnson scored twice and Brayden Johnson had a goal and an assist as Billerica topped Cape Ann 7-2; and Martino wore the hat, Trudel delivered two goals and an assist and No. 28 had two assists in Windham’s 6-2 win over Newton – Nick Pratt with two goals in the loss.

In the title game, Luke Allen erupted for five goals as Billerica trimmed Windham 6-4 – Trudel with two goals in the loss.

Tier 4

 

The LS Jr. Warriors won the title.

Paul Ferrara wore the hat and added an assist, Bertie Kline had a goal and two assists, No. 63 handed out three assists and No. 86 had a goal and an assist in Winthrop’s 8-2 victory over Manchester-Essex – Matt Ayott with both goals in the loss; Finkle scored two goals and dished out six assists, Corbett scored six goals and set up another and Ferraresso and Johnson shared the shutout in Marblehead’s big win over Beverly; and Southwick scored two goals and set up another, Richardson and No. 3 both had a goal and two assists, Flynn also scored twice and Nicohosian also had two assists as Groton/Dunstable scored a big win over Peabody.

In the semifinals, Mateo Micchiche wore the hat and had an assist and Jake Maycock and Rex Friedholm both scored twice as the Warriors topped Winthrop 8-2; and Finkle’s second goal of the game, with 4:20 left, gave Marblehead edged Groton/Dunstable 4-3.

In the final, Friedholm scored two goals and had an assist and Maycock posted a goal and an assist as the Warriors downed Marblehead 4-1.

5th Grade

 

Wakefield Grey won the championship

Amesbury rallied past Merrimack Valley with five goals in the third period – Van DiLorenzo’s second goal of the game started the charge with 7:14 left, Mike Hutchinson following 44 seconds later, Damien Letendre scored with 4:38 remaining, Aiden Cink, who also had an assist, scored with 2:38 left and Hutchinson came through again with 29 seconds left – Matt Costa with two goals and Owen Johnson two assists in the loss; Dan Hanafin scored five goals as Burlington topped Chelmsford 6-2 – Dom Villare with a goal and an assist in the loss; and Will Siciliano wore the hat and Owen LaCamera scored two goals and set up another in Bedford’s 7-3 triumph over Wakefield Red – Scarpello with a goal and an assist in the loss.

In the semifinals, John Taylor wore the hat and dished out two assists and Chase Kaufman had a goal and an assist as Wakefield Grey defeated Amesbury 8-2; and Mike Abbott scored twice and Dimitri Seremitis pitched a shutout in Burlington’s 6-0 victory over Bedford.

In the final, Joe Sasso and Taylor both scored twice in Wakefield’s 5-2 win over Burlington.
